Scholarships 2

Opportunities for brighter futures and stuff

Each year, CareerSafe awards over $30,000 in scholarship money to individuals who demonstrate the knowledge and skills they’ve gained through CareerSafe courses. The winners of each scholarship contest receive a cash prize, along with a highlight on the CareerSafe website. Learn how you could be our next winner!

National Youth Safety
Essay Scholarship Contest

Students are encouraged to submit a written or recorded essay describing how their OSHA training has made an impact on the way they recognize hazards and how that knowledge will be a benefit to their future. CareerSafe selects up to four students to be awarded a $500 scholarship each quarter.

National Youth Safety
Video Scholarship Contest

Students from across the country are challenged annually to create a short video demonstrating safety in the workplace. The top three video winners each year receive scholarship prizes.

National Safety Educator of the Year

The CareerSafe National Safety Educator of the Year Award recognizes exceptional educators who have dedicated their time to preparing students for the future and helping students recognize and mitigate workplace hazards in their chosen careers.

The winning educator each year is awarded $5,000 for their classroom and an all-expense paid trip to the ACTE CareerTech Vision conference at the end of the year.

Check back in August for information and instructions on how to nominate a deserving teacher! Until then, here’s our 2021 CareerSafe National Educator of the Year, Dr. Kelly Eichmann.
